Mosely on the podium on her week off!
With a short break in-between racing commitments, Trek World Racing gravity rider Tracey Mosely decided to have a crack at an increasingly popular form of gravity racing, the Avalanche Enduro race at Keilder Water in the UK.To describe the format of the race, I'm going to take a paragraph from the report on Descent World: There are 7 stages to be completed, all of which are downhill orientated. You are timed during the stages but not between them so the liasons are leisurely and not rushed. However, during the stages it is to be treated as a downhill race- balls to the wall! Read the rest of the report for a good insite into the race.
The short version is that Tracey Mosely went along and blitzed the womens competition to take the win. Apparently there were quite a few Trek Remedy's at the race, with a 5-6" travel bike being the most popular for the event. However, Tracey decided a lighter bike was more appropriate and hit up the race on her Trek Top Fuel, proving that the Trek suspension platform, featuring ABP, Full Floater and EVO Link are very capable bikes, right across the range.
Thanks to Descent World for the photo.
Well done Tracey on a great win.
